Cool Frogs Early Childhood Education is a family-owned and operated childcare centre located in West Wodonga, Victoria. Our centre is run by a team of experienced educators who are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for children from six weeks to school aged.
Our centre philosophy is based on the belief that every child is unique and deserves to be treated with love, respect, and dignity. They aim to create a safe and nurturing environment where children can learn, play, explore, and develop at their own pace.
As a family-operated and owned centre, we value the importance of building strong relationships with our families. We encourage parents to be involved in their child's learning journey and offer regular opportunities for communication and feedback.
Our centre's curriculum is designed to foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. It incorporates play-based learning, which enables children to develop their self-confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and more.
We also have additional activities within Cool Frogs by providing experiences from the wider community and professionals, such as Music and Movement program with Maggie Moo, an Acro Dance program and Wodonga Conservatory of Music visits. Also, we invite the police and firemen and women and other professionals, as we feel it only enhances your child's experience and creates memories.
We are also approved for Kinder and we offer a Kindergarten program that is delivered by our Qualified Ealry Childhood Teachers who are within our pre kinder and kindergarten rooms.
Cool Frogs Early Childhood Education is a warm and welcoming centre that provides a supportive and inclusive environment for children and families in the Wodonga community.

Our Pre- Kinder room has a fully qualified early childhood teacher, and the room has been created to provide a safe and stimulating environment by offering a large, open play space for the children as they begin to develop new skills and explore the world around them. The Curriculum, which an early childhood teacher delivers, focuses on play-based activities and developing social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills. Other activities may also include art and craft, music and movement, outdoor play, storytelling, and small group activities to help build language and communication. Learning through play is an essential part of learning at this age. The Children will be encouraged to explore new materials and toys, take turns, and share. Play-based learning also helps develop important skills such as problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking. Our Pre-Kinder room is the final stage before entering our Kindergarten room to begin their next chapter in learning and development.
Our Kindergarten room is for children four years to school-aged and plays a crucial role in preparing children for school readiness, with a fully qualified early childhood teacher. Our Kinder room is designed specifically so children can learn and explore through play, develop their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills, and build a solid foundation for further education. Our Kindergarten is well-equipped with appropriate resources that stimulate the children's imagination, creativity and excitement for learning. The furniture is child-sized and arranged in such a way that promotes exploration and discovery. Our Kindergarten room provides a range of activities, materials, and experiences that are developmentally appropriate and aligned with the national curriculum (ELYF). The activities promote the development of essential skills, such as literacy, numeracy, problem-solving, critical thinking, vocabulary, and communication. Furthermore, the Kindergarten room is inclusive, welcoming all children, regardless of their background, abilities, or needs. Our Teachers create an environment that is respectful and sensitive to children's cultural diversity and individual differences. As we provide a high-quality kindergarten program, our children are better prepared for primary school challenges and have a positive attitude towards lifelong learning. Through play-based learning and meaningful experiences, children will develop a love for learning that will serve them well in their future academic and personal endeavors.
